Abstract:

Soft Janus micelles provide excellent stabilization for multi-walled carbon nanotubes in a variety of solvents, including water. The size ratio of stabilizing to adsorbing patch (Janus balance) is decisive for the substantial amount of physisorbed particles and stabilization. The supramolecular interaction preserves the structural integrity of the nanotubes, essential for maintaining many appealing properties.
