DFG-ARC (447 AUS-113/24/0-1): Living Free Radical Polymerizations for Nanotechnology Applications
From 01/2005 to 12/2007
Project leader: Axel H. E. Müller
Coworkers: Maribel Hernández-Guerrero, Andrew Ah Toy, Andreas Walther, Pierre-Eric Millard, Anja S. Goldmann, Raymond Joso, Holger Schmalz
Abstract:
Joint project with the Centre of Advanced Macromolecular Design (CAMD), University of New South Wales, Sydney, for the exchange of scientists. Jointly supported by the Deutsche Forschnungsgemeinschaft (DFG) and the Australian Research Council (ARC).

The joint research project centres on a series of core projects from both the Australian and German collaborators. These core projects range from the synthesis of multifunctional nano- and micro-sphere particles, block copolymer systems used as efficient vehicles for drug delivery purposes to polymer brushes for nano-wires. The collaborating teams carry out joint research tasks in the above mentioned fields via the exchange of the team leaders, post-docs and PhD students.
